Protect student records and keep our SOC 2 program, data privacy agreements and state law obligations backed by working controls.

What you will do
- 01Own cloud security controls in AWS, including IAM, encryption, logging and network segmentation
- 02Run our SOC 2 Type II program and evidence collection
- 03Answer district security questionnaires and support NDPA and state DPA reviews
- 04Lead incident response planning and tabletop exercises
- 05Review subprocessors and enforce PII scrubbing in logs and telemetry
What we are looking for
- 014+ years in cloud security or security engineering
- 02Hands-on AWS security experience and infrastructure as code
- 03Experience running or supporting SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits
- 04Ability to explain controls in plain language to district IT leaders
- 05Familiarity with FERPA and U.S. state student privacy laws is a plus
