FERPA configuration
- TPA Ventures operates as a school official under 34 CFR § 99.31(a)(1)(i)(B) with legitimate educational interest; the Frontline connection is scoped to the students and fields your district authorizes in writing.
- Connector credentials are stored encrypted (AES-256) in a dedicated secrets vault, rotated on your schedule, and never visible to TPA Ventures support staff.
- Every read and write is recorded in an immutable audit log with user, timestamp, student identifier and field changed, exportable for state monitoring or records requests.

Does TPA Ventures write directly into Frontline forms?
Approved drafts are delivered as a field-mapped packet that staff place into the matching Frontline form sections. Your Frontline configuration and state form logic are not modified.
Which Frontline reports do we need?
A caseload report, a compliance dates report and a goals report cover most districts. Our onboarding team provides the column list.
Is this an official Frontline integration?
No. It relies on report exports and rostering standards that your district already controls.
